The news lately has been heavy—filled with moments that pull at our hearts and challenge our ability to understand why. Why are we still witnessing things we hoped humanity had learned from generations ago? Why does justice still feel like something we have to fight so hard to see?

But this generation is not one to simply sit on its hands. We are paying attention. We are asking questions. We are speaking up when something doesn't feel right, and refusing to allow the wrongs of 100 years ago to quietly become the wrongs of today.

The world is not the only thing that needs to change. Change must begin within every human being who occupies it. In our hearts. In the way we treat one another. In our willingness to listen, understand, show compassion, and recognize the humanity in someone whose life may look nothing like our own.

So, let change begin at home—but let it never stop there. Carry it into your community. Your workplace. Your friendships. Your conversations. And then spread it as far as your influence will reach.

Because a better world requires better from all of us.
